Home Away From Home

So while I'm on the plane, or some time around leaving Michigan and arriving to Atlanta I realized I had left my Ethernet cord back home. I just got a new one today, this is the third one I've had to buy!! Not happy about it, but I can't go without the net for too long.
So quick update,

• I went to court and everything worked out way better than expected. The misdemeanor was dropped, instead of receiving 4pts on my license I only received 2pts, and instead of paying a $350+ fine I only paid $35 because I already had $100 from my bond which covers a $135 fine. I'm just glad it's over! That was last Tuesday, and everyday after that was a breeze minus trying to pack my whole damn wardrobe.
• My flight from Michigan to ATL was complete hell, I was running late for one. Secondly my zipper on my carry-on broke, and last but not least I had to throw away like $100+ worth of VS & Bath & Body works stuff(Most if not all barely used). Talk about pissed, yeah I kind of figured I couldn't take all that shit on the plane but I was rushing and my suitcases were already full.  So everyday when I get out of the shower, I just look at my dresser and think about ALL the good shit I USED to have.
• I get to my dorm, and they have someone already moved in my assigned room, so I had to wait about 20mins for them to get me another room. The room that they finally ended up giving me, didn't have keys so whenever I leave I have to hope that either my roommates are up, and or the director is in his room.
• Speaking of roommates, all 5 of my other roommates are on the girls basketball team; need a say more!

Overall I didn't think this time would come as quick as it did, seems like yesterday I was just starting my retail job and dreading having to take a semester off. I'm happy to be back in ATL, but lately I just haven't been in the mood for anything. I did go out,last night and it was fun, which I didn't expect because it was a Sunday.
I also realized that this time around, I have to focus on my academics more so that's my first priority then work and social life. Classes start Wednesday, so until then I'm going to chill and try to pull myself out of this funk I've been in.

 Starting of 2010

I have a long, and busy week ahead of me! My weekend wasn't much excitement, I'm not complaining because soon all the relaxation and sleeping in will come to an end.
Today I finally went to Forever21, I haven't been since May! Can you believe it, my town doesn't have one. Which actually isn't a bad thing, if you ask me. I didn't get to look around or shop like I wanted to because I was with my sister, who after a quick walk through of any store starts asking if you're ready. Which is one of the main reason's why I like to shop by myself. I'm sure I'm not alone!
But, anyway I leave Saturday for Atlanta, It seems like just yesterday I was depressed because my summer vacation turned into a longer stay than planned. I thought the months would drag by, and it would take forever for January to come but; not at all!

I go to court Tuesday, which is pre-trial and I'm hoping to settle it then. I can't afford to miss my flight which I've already paid for due to this roadblock. I really hate to settle for paying a $350 fine, AND a misdemeanor on my record but what other outcome is there, jail? HELL NO!

So better yet said, it's going to be an interesting week. I'm dreading having to pack, I plan on clearing out my room because there's no telling when I'll be back this way. So I want to clear it out just in case my mom wants to turn it into a guest room or something. I can't stop thinking about leaving to even imagine the next time I'll return to this misery trap.

Ever since I've gotten my droid, I've been picture crazy. Don't judge me, I haven't had a decent camera since my last one was stolen!
